Bo of Mount Zhongqu resembles a horse with a white body, black tail, one horn, tiger teeth and claws, and a drum-like voice. It eats tigers and leopards and is associated with protection against arms. Calling it merely a white unicorn loses much of the entry.
'Chinese unicorn' may serve as a first visual comparison, but it is not the name used by the source or proof that distinct cultural beings are identical. The passage also does not supply a detailed military technique. SYNREX's peace motif is a contemporary interpretation of its protective role.
