Ce que décrit le passage
Kunlun is called the emperor's lower capital, administered by the deity Lu Wu. The passage gives Lu Wu a tiger's body, nine tails, a human face, and tiger claws, then describes responsibilities for the divisions of heaven and the imperial garden's seasons. Nine tails, rather than nine heads, are the identifying detail here.
Limites de l’interprétation
A later sentence in the same passage describes Tu Lou, a four-horned, sheep-like man-eater. That description belongs to a different creature. An earlier SYNREX excerpt mistakenly included Tu Lou and conflated Lu Wu with Kaiming; it has been corrected. The site's guardian-of-boundaries theme is an interpretation of Lu Wu's responsibilities, not an additional classical quotation.
